BRING ME THE HORIZON

Bring Me the Horizon (or BMTH as often referred to) is a deathcore band from Sheffield, Yorkshire. The band formed in the year 2004 from members of other bands within their local area. They have incorporated elements of death metal and metalcore in their music, resulting in their genre best being described as deathcore into their sound on their debut album "Count Your Blessings" which was released October 30th 2006.

They are currently signed to the label Visible Noise Records, but were originally signed to the record label Thirty Days of Night Records. They were also the first band to be signed to that label. They have toured in the past with bands such as Lostprophets (headline), The Blackout; Killswitch Engage (headline) and The Haunted. They did a headlining tour of the UK during March and April with the now defunct metalcore band I Killed The Prom Queen.

They are also confirmed to be playing Download Festival 2007 in June also with Iron Maiden, Slayer and others.

Oli Sykes and Matt Nicholls are vegetarians and make this well known. They joined in a PETA campaign against KFC.

In a drunken state Oli Sykes once told a Kerrang journalist that "we [Bring Me the Horizon] are over-rated, our EP was shit, and kids only like us because of my [Oli's] hair"

Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light. Although black is sometimes described as an "achromatic", or hueless, color, in practice it can be considered a color, as in expressions like "black cat" or "black paint".

Pigments that absorb light rather than reflect it back to the eye "look black". A black pigment can, however, result from a combination of several pigments that collectively absorb all colors. This provides two superficially opposite but actually complementary descriptions of black. Black is the lack of all colors of light, or an exhaustive combination of multiple colors of pigment.

In physics, a black body is a perfect absorber of light, but, by a thermodinamic rule, it is also the best emitter. Thus, the best radiative cooling, out of sunlight, is by using black paint, though it is important that it be black (a nearly perfect absorber) in the infrared as well. In elementary science, far Ultraviolet light is called "black light" because, unseen, it causes many minerals and other substances to fluoresce. On January 16, 2008, researchers from Troy, New York’s Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute announced the creation of the darkest material on the planet. The material, which reflects only .045 percent of light, was created from carbon nanotubes stood on end. Black is authoritative and powerful; because black can evoke strong emotions, too much can be overwhelming. Black represents a lack of color, the primordial void, emptiness. It is a classic color for clothing, possibly because it makes the wearer appear thinner and more sophisticated. 

Alternative Rock

Rock alternatif (Alternative rock) adalah aliran musik rock yang muncul pada tahun 1980-an dan menjadi sangat populer di tahun 1990. Nama "alternatif" ditemukan pada tahun 1980 untuk mendeskripsikan band-band punk rock yang tidak sesuai dengan aliran punk rock pada masanya. Sebagai jenis musik yang spesifik, rock alternatif mempunyai sub-aliran yang bervariasi, dari musik indie yang bermulai pada tahun 1980 dan menjadi populer pada tahun 1990; seperti indie rock, grunge, gothic rock, dan college rock. Awal mula trlibat sm Garasi c dr keikutsertaan kak Aiu di audisi pncarian bakat, Indonesian Idol. walopun gag lo2s, talent kak Aiu maen gitar mnarik prhatian Indra Lesmana yg kmduian mnta ke ka2k'y (Mira Lesmana) buad audisiin kak Aiu. Akhir'y maen de nogh dFilm Garasi breng aianx gw(-ngayal dikit-) Fedi Nuril, sm Aries Budiman.

Kak Aiu sm grup band GARASI jg prnah tampil di Jepang tgl. 1 Nov 2007. Aksi musik'y iringan akustik ni dilakukan krna film Garasi mao diputar scara eksklusif di 8th NHK Asian Film Festival 2007, yg diadain tgl.31 Okt sampe tgl.5 November 2007. Bhkan Garasi dapet ksempatan wa2ncara scara live lhoo di TV NHK plus mjalah Pop Asia. Keren gag tuu band fav. gw....!!
